Results have proven that Distance Learning is a particularly effective method of gaining skills and qualifications for those people who cannot commit to a prescribed timetable. With almost three decades of experience, IDEAL Schools’ unique materials and methods will help you achieve aims and objectives that may otherwise be out of reach.
1. Course Selection
Via our
courses page
you can view our extensive course range. As specialists in offering bookkeeping & accounting training via home study we are confident that we have a course option that is suitable for your requirements. If you would like any advise on what your best options would be, please call our advisors on 0141 248 5200
2. You Enrol
Simply follow the straightforward procedures and choose your selected course or module. Your enrolment can be made
online
, by post, fax or telephone (0141 248 5200). You have the option of paying the full fee on enrolment or paying a deposit plus monthly payments (without any interest charges!).
3. You Become A Registered Student
Your first study materials should arrive in around one week. Included will be a study guide, your student reference number and information re tutorial support.
4. Your Start Learning New Skills
Using the specially prepared study manuals your progress will surprise you (!) and you will soon be ready to complete your first assignment. Completed assignments can be faxed, posted or emailed to us (email – tutor@idealschools.co.uk)
5. Tutorial Support
Your tutor will mark the assignment and where relevant make comments and corrections. Whenever possible the corrected work will be emailed back to you along with Suggested Answers. Via email or phone you may contact our tutors as often as you like throughout your studies.
6. Examinations
Prior to your examination you will be asked to complete a ‘mock exam’ (which utilises a genuine ICB past paper) to help you achieve maximum success at the exam. In some instances (especially if time permits) we may suggest you attempt a second ‘mock exam’ to ensure you are ready and confident. Since the introduction of the ICB Online/Computer-Based examinations we now encourage students to also attempt the online practice papers, which are included with the course package.
7. A Successful Career
The main purpose of studying is to obtain recognised qualifications and then to improve your job prospects / financial situation. Choose award-winning IDEAL Schools as your learning provider today.
